MLM or Multi-Level Marketing is a home-based business. It involves the sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location. As the term 'multi-level' suggests each salesperson is a part of the chain, called a distributor, a representative or a consultant depending on the company they represent.
