My Manchester Pub Guide

Here’s a guide to the best pubs and bars in Manchester - With over five hundred licensed premises in the city centre alone, Manchester must be classed as one of the liveliest nights out in England. There is a wide variety of choice from the traditional city centre pubs to relaxed café bars, gay bars on Cannel Street and the ultra modern bars around the Northern Quarter.

Here are a couple of Manchester favourite bars:

The Northern Quarter Bar is extremely popular at the weekend for good reason; Spreading across two floors the electronic music provides an exciting atmosphere, along with good cocktails and friendly crowd, this is definitely a must visit when in Manchester

The Odd Bar on Oxford Road, located near the BBC studios and Palace Theatre is a popular place with students and young professional. It’s funky appearance, great atmosphere and friendly staff makes this bar unique.

The Bacchanalia Manchester Bar is situated in a beautiful Tudor house on Chapel Walk which is a stones throw away from Kings Street. The ambience created in this bar makes it perfect for a fruity cocktail or glass of crisp white wine. The rustic look creates a homely feeling and large choice of cocktails, you cannot fail to enjoy yourself.

The Cloud 23 bar located on the 23rd floor of the Hilton Hotel has impressive views across the city. You can drink fine cocktails whilst admiring the local architecture of the city. This is definitely a must stop for a couple of drink, however there might be a queue at busy times.

Whichever Manchester bars you visit, you will have an excellent time in the rock'n'goal capital of the world!
