I have recently spent the last three days in Manchester with my companion. I have to say that it was a fantastic place to visit and was actually a much nicer city than what I had previously imagined. In this article I will be writing about some of the tourist attractions that I visited in Manchester.
I'm a bit of a shopaholic, like a lot of people no doubt. On the first day we took a look around the shops in the centre of Manchester. There was a number of gorgeous boutique shops near Harvey Nichols to wonder around and spend lots of money in.
On the evening we decided to eat our evening meal at a fish restaurant near the main shopping street called Grill on the Alley. This was an excellent choice and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. After the meal we headed to a bar called Epernay where we drank champagne and danced the night away.
On the Second day we visited the Trafford centre, this is a shopper’s paradise with many bargains available. We also went to a couple of the Manchester museums in the afternoon.
On the last day we visited the Lowry Museum in Salford which was very interesting and most certainly an eye opener.
Manchester is an excellent place to visit for a short break and is a very trendy place to hang out. I would definitely recommend it to any party goer, young professional, student or middle aged couples.
